This extensive and, at times, hysterical, course is based on the soon to be published book by the same name which dives into why douchebags (a less than lovely term now coined for a far too common man) not only exist, but seem to be in mass production these days, what makes guys this way, why women choose them, how to stop choosing them, and how to know what you really want, as well as how to find it. If you are tired of picking the wrong guy, or you want to learn how to help your friends stop picking the wrong guy, then this is the class for you! Boundaries...what are THOSE?? 6 weeks What are healthy and necessary boundaries? How do we begin to set them, much less stay firm in them? When is it important to set them? What is the difference between boundaries and walls? This class helps you see why you continue to make the same mistakes in certain areas of your life, how to figure out what your boundaries need to be, and how to hold true to your boundaries in a kind and confident way. How to Converse Rather than Argue 1 week This class is a great compliment to the Men v Women class. We will discuss how to effectively argue when necessary and, better yet, how to get into conversations with people and be heard, rather than getting into arguments, which only leads to people shutting down and tuning you out. How To Be a Real Woman in Society Today 1 class What are our roles today? How do we stay strong and be a lady? What are the different eras of feminism, and what are the positives and negatives of these changes over time? What is happening to women around the world? Should we care? What can we do? Hear others thoughts and opinions and figure out what you truly believe about your own gender for yourself, your immediate relationships, and women around the world. Identify Yourself, Please 4 weeks Where do you find your identity? We know all the right answers to this question. In this class, you will be challenged to look inside and find out where you really receive your concept of identity. We will explore healthy places to find one's identity, as well as the many unhealthy places we tend to look for it. You are not just someone's mom or wife or employee or boss or failure or success. You are something more than what you do or how people may have labeled you. You must truly know who you are before people can see and appreciate the real you. Wanting It All 1 week Whether you are an over-achiever or an under-achiever, it is often due to an excessive need or want to be everything in life. By learning whether or not you have a realistic sense of self, or if you have a destructive inflated one will help you realize what is really driving your lack of focus or inability to feel content. A realistic sense of self will help you find balance and a sense of peace that you may be missing. In this class, we will help you see ALL of the things in which you feel you must be or accomplish, as well as help you prioritize to narrow that down to what really matters. Then we give you the tools to learn how to focus in on these in order to find a deeper meaning and success in the few things that truly matter, rather than feeling spread out trying to do it all. Little white lies, big ol' fat lies, habits of lying, lying by omission...these things are destroying your marriage, your relationships, your character, your self-esteem, your clear vision of who you are, and your ability to become the best version of you. We will take a REAL look at places in your life you may be lying, as well as recognizing when others are lying to you, why you may be accepting the lies, and how to make changes so that lies are no longer a part of your life. Reflexology 1 week Join with friends to learn how to help the body feel better through the soles. After this class, you can help yourself by knowing the right spot to hit to help specific parts of the body, as well as give your partner the best foot rub ever! Public Speaking 4 weeks Learn how to optimize your opportunities to speak in front of others through persuasive techniques, pace, tone, tricks of the trade, and preparation. You will also learn techniques to help take away the stress and fear of public speaking. Ladies, you never know when you will have to, or get to, speak in front of others! You need to be ready to sell your pitch, tell your testimony, and make a difference in whatever way you can by speaking out to and for others. Dreams 2 classes Do you ever wonder why we dream? Does a dream ever recur or haunt you over a period of days? Weeks? Years? Would you like to know what it means? We will discuss what a dream really is, why we have them, and the actual meaning behind them. Dreams come in many shapes and sizes, but understanding them is actually quite simple. Meditation 2 weeks These classes teach you the importance of meditation in your life, as well as the variety of types of meditation and proper way to meditate. Once you see the many benefits of meditation (clarity, release of stress and anger, better health, more accomplished days), you will be glad to learn how to incorporate whatever type of meditation works best for you. We will also cover the history of meditation and why some people are confused how to meditate properly based on their faith systems. The Ugly Push-Up 1 week This often times hilarious class allows ladies to see how they can better use their time of work outs by discovering correct alignment and positioning of their bodies as they attempt exercises. Most women do NOT have the correct alignment or body positioning and, therefore, do not optimize their workout to the fullest or, worse yet, end up with unnecessary injuries. Come dressed comfy and learn hands on how to do a correct sit up, push up, leg lift, squat, and so on. Why keep doing it if you're not doing it right?? |
